MONTEBELLO, Calif. — The Wilbur Curtis Co. Inc. has announced the debut of its new Generation Three (G3) ComboBrew Systems, which combines coffee and tea brewing into one efficient unit, saving valuable counter space for any foodservice operation. Available in standard or low-profile models, a simple change of the brewing vessel and brew cone allows users to switch between coffee and iced tea in just seconds. The heart of the ComboBrew is Curtis' exclusive G3 Universal Control Module, which provides precise control over the entire process. This control module features a scroll-through interface with color-coded buttons for one-touch operation. Factory-set, pre-programmed iced tea recipes and coffee brewing modes deliver "out of the box" operation, or settings can be configured for signature beverages.
For enhanced iced tea appearance, two ultra-precision inlet valves provide control over brewing and dilution cycles. And for flavor, a water-level sensor that guarantees perfected taste. The removable oval tea dispenser holds three to four gallons and features colorful merchandising graphics. In addition, its safety features include a detection system that allows tea brewing only when the dispenser is securely in place.
For gourmet coffee, Curtis' ComboBrews include pre-infusion and cycle brews to maximize the extraction of rich coffee flavor. And Curtis offers a wide variety of thermal pour pots and airpots — all sturdily supported by an adjustable shelf to accommodate the various sizes.
