NEW YORK — Once the results are verified, Trian Partners will own approximately 21.6 percent of Wendy's/Arby's Group after purchasing approximately 49.4 million shares of Wendy's/Arby's Class A common stock at $4.15 per share.
 
Trian Partners had offered to purchase up to 40 million shares. Approximately 219.2 million shares of Class A common stock were tendered and not withdrawn.
