• Costs prompt campus Burger King to end 2-for-2 deal

Spartan Daily (San Jose State University): Students at San Jose State University are disappointed that the campus' Burger King suddenly ended its promotion of two double cheeseburgers for $2. A supervisor at the Burger King said the store was losing money on every double cheeseburger sold. Now that the special has ended, the price of two double cheeseburgers is $4.58.
