BOISE, Idaho — ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston has developed three new Sweet Things sweet potato products for restaurant operators. The new offerings include medium-thick Crinkle Cut French Fries, Sweet Potato Chips and mildly seasoned Battered Dices. 
Datassential Research also reports that 40 percent of consumers are more likely to visit a restaurant that serves sweet potato fries.

Lamb Weston debuts new sweet potato products
According to a 2007 online survey by research firm Technomic, per-capita consumption of sweet potatoes has grown 21 percent in the last five years, and two-thirds of consumers believe sweet potatoes are more nutritious than other vegetables.
Each of Lamb Weston's nine Sweet Things products contains zero grams trans fat. Lamb Weston supports the products with menu ideas and merchandising support.
