ATLANTA — Carvel Ice Cream has announced that participating Carvel Ice Cream locations are hosting a Customer Appreciation Day on Sept. 20 from noon to 5 p.m. Customers will receive a free Lil' Rounder cookie and small soft serve cones will be sold for 59 cents.
 
Lil' Rounder cookies are one of the main ingredients in Carvel's new Lil' Rounder novelities, which are two mini-cookies with soft serve in the middle, and sold in 12-packs. The cookies come in three flavors: chocolate chip, double chocolate and sugar.
