SAN DIEGO — HME, a manufacturer of wireless and cabled communication systems for drive-thrus, has announced it has received the "Vendor of the Year" award from Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc.

"HME has been an outstanding vendor and partner to Checkers," said Tammy Robinson, equipment and facilities buyer at Checkers. Robinson said HME has helped Checkers restaurants achieve their drive-thru speed and service goals.

HME shares the title this year with two other "Vendor of the Year" recipients: Coca-Cola and Schwartz Consulting, who were selected from approximately 200 total vendors.
