WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. plans to release its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2009 on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, and host a conference call to review second quarter results at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time on the same day.

A live webcast of the conference call will be available at www.KrispyKreme.com/investorrelations.html and archived there for one year. A transcript of the conference call will also be available at the company website.
