BALTIMORE — The Mid-Atlantic Food, Beverage and Lodging Expo, to be held Sept. 17-18 at the Baltimore Convention Center, will offer attendees the know how they need to keep their businesses efficient and profitable through twelve free educational seminars.
The show's line up of educational seminars covers everything from the beginning stages of developing a business plan to the complete execution of an entrepreneur's vision.
The 2008 Expo's "green" focused seminars include "Practicing Green to Make Green" and "Watching your Waste."
The show also will feature "Welcome to Your Nightmare: The Practice & Prevention of Employee Theft" and "The Floor Detective: Effectively Scam-Proofing Your Restaurant." The seminars will be given by R. Chip DeGlinkta and Peter Francis, authors of "How to Burn Down the House: The Infamous Waiter & Bartender's Scam Bible."
DeGlinkta and Francis were featured in June 2007 on ABC's 20/20, and recently addressed attendees at the Texas Restaurant Association's Southwest Foodshow and appeared on Good Morning America and FOX News.
