OAK BROOK, Ill. — Global comparable sales for McDonald's Corp. restaurants increased 8 percent in July, the company announced. U.S comps were up 6.7 percent for the month, while European comps increased 7.6 percent.
 
Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa comps rose 7.2 percent. In addition, double-digit comps in Latin America benefited the month's overall performance.
