TAMPA, Fla. — Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc., parent company of double drive-thru restaurants Checkers and Rally's, has announced the additions of Valerie McCartney as director of franchise development, Western U.S., and Diane Phibbs as director of franchise sales and support. Don Miller has assumed the role of director of franchise development, Eastern U.S.
McCartney has nearly 20 years of franchise-development and marketing experience in the foodservice and consumer-goods industries, including work with Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, El Pollo Loco and Pepsi-Cola. Most recently, she served as director of franchise sales and development at Johnny Rockets.
Phibbs brings 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry having previously served as director of franchise sales for Beef ‘O' Brady's. She also has held senior-level franchise positions with Arby's and Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits.
