LOS ANGELES — Regency Maintenance Services has announced that it has started a lighting retrofit for CKE Restaurants Inc. in more than 300 of its Hardee's restaurants.
 
Juliann Rogers, CKE's energy manager, estimates the company will shed demand for approximately 18 Gigawatts (18 million Kilowatts) of energy annually and directly reduce CO2 emissions in excess of 1,200 tons by implementing the retrofit program.
