CAMPBELL, Calif. — Blendz has announced that Scott Mortier has been tapped to fill the newly-created position of vice president of franchise development, where he will report directly to CEO Matt Phipps.
 
In his new role, Mortier will lead the market expansion program for Blendz, which includes single-unit franchises, area developer opportunities for specific U.S. geographic territories and international opportunities.
 
Blendz is a quick-service restaurant chain that features tossed-to-order salads, grilled panini sandwiches, blended smoothies, gourmet soups, and coffee and espresso drinks at some locations.
