Crain's Chicago Business: Sales of McDonald's specialty coffee has been soft in two initial test markets — Michigan and Kansas City, Mo. — according to internal company documents. Weekly sales of specialty coffee in those markets averaged about 300 drinks per store for the four-week period ended March 6, 2008, well below company projections.
