MORENO VALLEY, Calif. — Portillo's Hot Dogs has recently opened its newest location in Moreno Valley, Calif., the company announced.
 
The Moreno Valley Portillo's Hot Dogs is the 34th Portillo's Hot Dogs; the first opening in California was in Buena Park in October 2005.
 
Owner Dick Portillo opened his first restaurant known as "The Dog House" in Villa Park, Ill., in 1963. Today, The Portillo Restaurant Group has more than 3,500 employees and operates 46 units in Illinois, Indiana and California.
