• Courts uphold N.Y. menu labeling law

Newsday: A federal judge upheld a New York regulation requiring large chain restaurants to post calorie and other nutritional information on menus and menu boards statewide. The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene believes the regulation, which takes effect Monday, will help the city achieve its goal of reducing obesity. The judge agreed.
