CARPINTERIA, Calif. — CKE Restaurants Inc. has announced positive period two same-store sales for the four weeks ended Mar. 24, 2008, for Carl's Jr. and Hardee's.

Blended same-store sales increased 2.4 percent for the period. Carl's Jr. same-store sales rose 6 percent, while Hardee's same-store sales dropped 2.1 percent.

Consolidated revenue for the period was $92.1 million: $50.9 million for Carl's Jr. and $41.2 million for Hardee's.
