GOLDEN, Colo. — Good Times Restaurants Inc. has announced that same-store sales increased 11.2 percent in December 2007 and 11.6 percent for its first fiscal quarter. The company said that this quarter was the 16th consecutive quarter of same-store sales increases, factoring out the lost sales days from winter storms.
"We rolled out our new Chicken Bambinos at the beginning of January with television media support to begin late in the month, so we hope to continue to gather sales momentum with a relevant value offering for Good Times' customers over the coming months," said Boyd Hoback, president and CEO. "We believe our new value approach will continue to resonate with consumers given the difficult macroeconomic environment with slowing consumer spending."
Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard has 52 restaurants, mostly in Colorado, serving hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and fresh frozen custard.
