MIAMI — Burger King Corp. and MasterCard Worldwide have launched a sweepstakes in U.S. Burger King restaurants.
 
Several grand-prize winners will receive a $5,000 travel award. Additional prizes include $500 MasterCard Gift Cards, $250 MasterCard Gift Cards and $50 BK Crown Cards.
 
MasterCard cardholders in the United States automatically are entered to win each time they make a purchase at a participating Burger King restaurant using their MasterCard card through March 2, 2008.
 
The MasterCard promotion is being supported through point-of-purchase advertising as well as advertising in InTouch, US Weekly, Star and People Magazine.
