MIAMI — Burger King has launched its "Fill Every Appetite on Your List" Crown Card promotion at restaurants for the holiday season.
Each BK Crown Card purchased between Nov. 19, 2007, and Jan. 6, 2008, will come with a holiday-themed envelope featuring a detachable, instant-win sweepstakes game piece. Consumers will have the opportunity to win American Express-branded prepaid cards worth $50,000 or a year of free air travel courtesy of Orbitz, awarded as $10,000 worth of airfare.
"We know that selecting gifts for everyone on your list can make the holidays more stressful than fun," said Brian Gies, vice president of marketing impact for Burger King Corp. "BK Crown Cards are a quick and convenient gift option and this promotion offers the exciting prospect of fulfilling your own holiday wish."
BK Crown Cards can be loaded with $5 to $100 and then reloaded and reused. A total of five American Express-branded prepaid cards worth $50,000 and 30 travel awards from Orbitz will be given away during the promotion.
BK Crown Cards do not have an expiration date or maintenance fee. Each time the card is used, the remaining balance is printed on the purchase receipt and can also be checked online at www.bk.com.
BK Crown Cards are also available for purchase in select retailers including CVS, Office Depot, and Schnucks Markets. However, the Holiday BK Crown Card Game is only available with cards purchased at participating Burger King restaurants in the United States and Canada and online at www.bkcrowncard.com.
