Sharp intros embedded POS solution

ATLANTA — Sharp has announced the launch of its UP-3500 embedded POS System, developed for business status reporting including payroll time tracking and credit card authorization without a PC connection.

The UP-3500 features a fan-less case, full-color 12-inch LCD touchscreen and a standard magnetic card reader for cashier cards and credit card operations. Additionally, the intuitive programming interface assists managers in making software changes and features supervisory functions including cash management and end-of-shift reconciliation by drawer.

The UP-3500 along with all Sharp cash registers and POS systems, can be integrated with the Sharp SDW back office software.
