MIAMI — Burger King Corp. announced that its Have It Your Way Foundation has accepted a $4.5 million grant from the Burger King McLamore Foundation, designated for the funding of a scholarship program in the name of Burger King's co-founder, James W. McLamore.
 
The Have It Your Way Foundation intends to continue the BK Scholarship Program, operated by the McLamore Foundation. The program is designed for highly motivated high school students and is based on academic performance and financial need.
 
The Have It Your Way Foundation expects to award approximately 700 scholarships annually in the United States and Canada.
