BK names John Schaufelberger SVP of global product marketing

MIAMI — Burger King Corp. has promoted John Schaufelberger to senior vice president, global product marketing, the company announced. He will lead product innovation, development, marketing and promotional launches around the world.

Schaufelberger joined Burger King in 2004 as director of product marketing. Prior to joining Burger King, he was senior vice president of marketing for Atlanta-based Arby's from 1996 to 2004. He was responsible for the development and expansion of the Market Fresh line of products. He also was the southeast division marketing director for Pizza Hut, where he was responsible for sales and traffic-driving initiatives.
