CARPINTERIA, Calif. — Same-store sales increased 2 percent at Carl's Jr. and 2.9 percent at Hardee's company-operated restaurants for the second quarter ended Aug. 13, 2007, parent company CKE Restaurants Inc. has announced.
      
Revenues at company-operated Carl's Jr. restaurants increased $0.5 million, or 0.4 percent, over the same period last year.
 
Revenue from company-operated Hardee's restaurants decreased $1.8 million, or 1.2 percent, over the same period last year.
