MINNEAPOLIS — Matthew Jennings, president of Minneapolis-based Global Tier, a data tracking and reporting services provider for foodservice customers, has announced the company's partnership with Echelon Corporation. 
 
Echelon's LonWorks platform, a standards-based control networking platform, can be used to integrate an operator's professional kitchen equipment. This open-network system can then provide coordinated data access and management by a corporate office or a franchise owner, onsite or remotely, according to a news release.
