WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. has announced a proposed operational realignment — both for its franchise and company-owned locations. The changes will primarily affect the Krispy Kreme Support Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., the company said in a news release.

As part of the changes, Jeff Welch and Steve Lineberger, current members of the company's executive team, will take on expanded responsibilities in the franchise and company stores business segments.

Welch will become senior vice president and general manager of global franchise operations and development, and Lineberger will become senior vice president and general manager of U.S. company operations.
