MIAMI — Burger King Holdings Inc. reported system-wide same store sales increased 3.2 percent for the third quarter of its 2007 fiscal year, making it the 13th consecutive quarter of positive comp increases.

In the United States and Canada, comps increased 2.6 percent for the quarter , marking a comp increase in North America for the 12th straight term. In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, comps increased 5.3 percent for the quarter.

Positive same-store sales worldwide and an increase in new restaurant openings drove 3Q '07 revenues to $539 million, up 9 percent from $495 million for the same period last year.

Net income increased to $34 million up from a loss of $12 million during the same period last year.
