New items to the chain include Milk Chugs (plain and chocolate) and Minute Maid Apple Juice, as well as old favorites adapted from the core menu, including two- or three-count Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Strips, Hi-C, and Chick-fil-A's freshly squeezed lemonade.
Other recent Kids and Family Marketing initiatives launched by Chick-fil-A include a free Table Topper stick-in-place plastic placemat for infants and the installation of special dispensers of individual PURELL Sanitizing Hand Wipe packets at participating restaurants.
"Expanding and improving the Kid's Meal menu is part of our ongoing efforts to provide flexible options for families," said Steve Nedvidek, Chick-fil-A's senior manager of store marketing. "While we currently offer a variety of beverages for kids, we are excited to offer an additional healthy alternative choice such as 100 percent apple juice, as well as both chocolate and two percent plain milk that now comes in a more kid-friendly package."
The Chick-fil-A Kid's Meal menu will continue to offer Chick-fil-A Nuggets (4- or 6-count) as an entree option, Waffle Potato Fries, kid's size beverage and a unique premium. Additionally, customers may opt for a 3 oz. Fruit Cup instead of Waffle Potato Fries (for an additional 40 cents) and can choose a number of drink options as a Kid's Meal beverage.
