Reuters: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. Thursday reported a loss for the fourth quarter that was narrower than a year ago as costs for closing poorly performing stores fell.

The fourth-quarter net loss was $24.4 million, compared with a loss of $37.7 million, Krispy Kreme said in a regulatory filing.
