BeaconNewsOnline (Chicago): McDonald's is considering adding smoothies and specialty coffee drinks to the menus of its U.S. restaurants, the company's president said yesterday. Ralph Alvarez told a group of investors in New York that the company was considering introducing the drinks as a way to bring new customers to its restaurants.
