• Marco's Pizza to open 56 Carolina units

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Triple S Foods Inc. has signed on to open 56 Marco's Pizza units in North and South Carolina. According to a news release, the first will open on or about Jan. 23 in Hope Mills, N.C.
 
"Quite frankly, I missed the challenges of being an entrepreneur," said Dee Dee Stanley, co-owner of Triple S Foods and a former hair salon owner. Her son, Sean, is her business partner and an experienced restaurant operator. "We looked at a variety of concepts. ... Marco's (has) the system in place to help us make it work."
 
There currently are 150 Marco's units in the United States.
