DETROIT — With the Detroit Tigers going to the World Series, Little Caesars is celebrating baseball and pizza.
The Tigers owner Mike Ilitch is also the founder of Little Caesars.
In addition, October is National Pizza Month and the World Series. According to a news release, Little Caesars has sold nearly 415,000 pizza slices, and more than 42,800 whole pizzas to-date at Comerica Park in 2006
According to a news release, like the red hot Tigers, Little Caesars has experienced several years of strong growth. "Little Caesars has seen significant sales increases for five consecutive years, and we expect to extend that run to six in 2006," said David Scrivano, president, Little Caesar Enterprises Inc. "This has also been a great year for the Tigers, and Little Caesars is proud to be the foundation business that allowed Mike Ilitch to build and purchase several businesses, including the Detroit Tigers.
"During the World Series, fans can enjoy their two Detroit favorites by including Little Caesars wherever they watch the games and cheer on their Tigers."
