ATLANTA — Arby's Restaurant Group Inc. and its ARCOP purchasing and distribution arm honored three of its suppliers with Values Awards during its Worldwide Franchise Convention, Sept. 10-13.
The "Get It Done/Make a Difference" Distribution Center award was given to MBM Lakeland for providing exceptional service and support to the Arby's system on a daily basis.
PepsiCo was honored with the "Dream Big/Play Fair" award for becoming Arby's exclusive national soft-drink provider. It also was recognized for its contributions during the national launch of Arby's Chicken Naturals, the relaunch of Arby's consumer Web site, arbys.com, NASCAR sponsorships and consumer insights and research.
The "Work Hard/Dream Big" award was presented to Winston Industries for its cut-above customer service and commitment to growing the Arby's brand. In the last year, Winston Industries worked aggressively on new technologies to assist Arby's in maintaining its hot-food holding procedures while simplifying the tracking process. Winston has also provided dedicated resources to assist in testing many new menu items.
