ARLINGTON, Texas — Intura Solutions LP, a supplier of POS and business management software for quick-service, fast-casual and delivery restaurant concepts, announced the launch of Intura Enterprise R2, a second-generation enterprise management framework for multiunit restaurant operators utilizing Intura Vision as their POS system.
According to a news release, Enterprise R2 provides improved data collection technology, powerful reporting and enhanced Web tools for corporate collaboration, consolidated reports and information management. It operates in a professionally managed hosting environment that can be accessed securely from anywhere in the world via the Internet. Restaurant data is compressed and encrypted then sent via dial-up or broadband connection to Intura Enterprise. Organizations can prepare individual, comparative and consolidated multisite reports, based on region, geography or organization that include such data as sales, operational, inventory, payroll, financial and product mix information.
"The new release of Intura Enterprise is the culmination of a substantial amount of development work by Intura during the past year to bring powerful and sophisticated tools to help our customers centrally manage their multiunit operations," said Gary W. Peek II, president of Intura. "We listened to needs being expressed by our customers regarding their desire for more than just centralized management. They were also asking for us to provide solutions to improve communications between their office and restaurant sites."
Through Intura Enterprise, companies can communicate with their management team and operations personnel by using built-in Web modules for events, announcements, surveys and newsletters. Intura Enterprise provides extensive document management capabilities that provide online access to information such as operational procedures, training manuals, product rollouts, human resources policies, multimedia materials and franchise guidelines. In addition, companies can set up their own discussion forums to generate open dialogue on important topics such as sales building, cost-cutting, management techniques and industry trends.
Intura Enterprise is built upon the Microsoft .NET platform with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as the database provider. The Intura Enterprise platform takes advantage of the new Intura Exchange technology designed to quickly and securely move data between restaurant sites and the central data center for "just in time" reporting.
