ATLANTA — Church's Chicken has appointed Scott Moffitt vice president of franchise sales and development.
According to a news release, Moffitt has 16 years of experience in the restaurant industry. He most recently served as the senior vice president of franchise sales for CKE Restaurants, which owns and operates the Carl's Jr., Hardee's and LaSala Fresh Mexican Grill restaurants.
Moffitt will oversee franchise sales and the real estate development arm of the franchise division.
"I truly embrace the aggressive plan here at Church's Chicken, especially the strong commitment to franchise development and to providing ongoing support services to our new and existing franchise partners," Moffitt said.
Earlier this year, the Church's franchise development team announced a goal of signing 150 new restaurant agreements in the United States.
