U.S. comps up 4.4% at Papa John's Pizza

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papa John's announced domestic system-wide comparable-store sales for the four weeks ended Aug. 20 rose 4.4 percent (composed of a 4.4 percent increase at company-owned units and a 4.4 percent increase at franchise units).

According to a news release, international sales for Papa John's branded units increased 31.5 percent for August, on a constant dollar basis, over the comparable period last year.
