LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papa John's International Inc. has appointed Robb Chase president over its international division.
According to a news release, Chase will report to Nigel Travis, Papa John's president and chief executive officer, and oversee all aspects of the company's international operations.
A native Canadian, Chase will be based out of the company's headquarters in Louisville, subject to his pending visa processing.
Chase has more than 25 years experience in the restaurant, foodservice and entertainment industries, including several years in the Pizza Hut system. From 2003 to 2005, he served as president and chief executive officer of Famous Players Inc., Canada's leading theatrical exhibition company and an operating division of Viacom Inc. From 2000 to 2003, he served as Famous Players' president and chief operating officer.
Chase served in senior management positions with Tricon Restaurants International (formerly part of PepsiCo), including roles as senior vice president of international franchising and regional vice president of Canada/Latin America franchise and business development. Chase was president of Pizza Hut Canada, vice president of marketing for Pizza Hut International, and general manager of the western region for KFC Canada.
