LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Comparable store sales at Yum! Brands' U.S. corporate stores fell for the four weeks ended Aug. 12.
 
According to a news release, comps at Taco Bell declined 3 percent versus an increase of 9 percent in the period last year. Pizza Hut's comps continued a multiperiod slide by falling 7 percent versus a drop of 2 percent. KFC turned in even comps versus an increase of 5 percent last year.
 
Yum does not report sales of its domestic franchise stores.
