NEW YORK — Triarc credited the complete acquisition of RTM, Arby's largest franchisee, for a strong second quarter.
 
Second quarter same-store sales for franchised restaurants increased 3 percent. Revenues increased to $307.8 million up from $93.7 million last year. Net income rose to $3.1 million.
 
The Arby's system opened 31 new units and closed 12 underperforming units for the quarter.
