Lenny's Sub Shop inks agreement with California operator

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Lenny's Franchisor LLC, franchisor of Lenny's Sub Shops, said the sub chain is headed to three new markets in the western United States.

According to a news release, JCP Renascent Group will open stores in Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Reno, Nev. This is the first franchise agreement for Lenny's Franchisor in California.

"This is a landmark agreement for us and it is going to open even more doors for Lenny's in the West," said George Alvord, chief executive officer of Lenny's Franchisor.

Lenny's has sold more than 600 franchises in 17 states from California to Virginia. According to LennysSubShop.com, there are 119 stores open.
