COLUMBIA, Md. — MICROS Systems Inc., a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, announced that Wendy's International Inc. is deploying MICROS's mymicros.net to collect, warehouse, and analyze transactional-level data from all company-owned stores.
According to a news release, mymicros.net will provide near real-time data collection and analysis from various point-of-sale (POS) systems installed in approximately 1,500 Wendy's corporate locations.
"Wendy's requires a comprehensive solution that transparently collects data from our corporate stores as well as from various existing POS systems in select franchise locations," said Rob Whittington, senior vice president and chief information officer of Wendy's. "Mymicros.net is able to aggregate and warehouse critical time-sensitive data and provide detailed sales analysis that is compatible with our current enterprise applications."
