IRVINE, Calif. — El Pollo Loco Holdings Inc. has filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of shares of its common stock.
 
El Pollo Loco Holdings Inc. (formerly EPL Holdings Inc.) is the indirect parent company of El Pollo Loco Inc. El Pollo Loco Inc. owns, operates and franchises restaurants specializing in marinated, flame-grilled chicken.
 
According to a news release, Banc of America Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch & Co. are serving as joint book-running managers and joint lead managers, Goldman, Sachs & Co. is serving as a joint lead manager and Piper Jaffray and RBC Capital Markets Corp. are serving as managers for the proposed offering.
