White Castle named Russell Meyer chief financial officer. Meyer will also serve as the chain's treasurer and vice president.
 
Prior to his new position, Meyer was White Castle's controller and assistant treasurer, and has been with the company since 1984. Before that he worked for Ernst & Young.
 
Meyer replaces William Blake, who retired after 18 years with White Castle and having served as its CFO since 1995, according to Business First. Anne Huffner, director of accounting services, replaces Meyer as controller. Andrew Prakel, divisional controller takes Huffner's post.
