TAMPA — Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc. announced that revenue for its fourth-quarter ended Jan. 2, was $53.9 million compared to $60.6 million in 2004. For the 52-week fiscal 2005, total revenue was $187.2 million compared to $194.2 million in 2004.
 
For the fourth quarter, company-operated restaurants generated sales of $48.5 million versus $55.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2004. The chain blamed $2.3 million of the decline on hurricane-related closures at company restaurants.
