• KFC ads target younger, tech-savvy crowd

Courier Journal: A new spot promoting the launch of the Buffalo KFC Snacker offers a $1 coupon for one of the sandwiches to those who can spot a message embedded in the ad. The catch: The secret word, "buffalo," appears for about a tenth of a second.
 
"You would not see it with the naked eye," KFC spokeswoman Laurie Schalow said. It takes a DVR or VCR playing in slow motion or frame-by-frame advance to reveal the word.
