A lawsuit was filed against McDonald's Corp. on Feb. 16 alleging the McDonald's falsely advertised that its french fries were milk and gluten free.
 
The woman claims McDonald's falsely advertised that it was safe for people with dietary issues relating to the consumption of dairy items and wheat allergens to eat McDonald's french fries because they were gluten- and milk-free.
 
On Feb. 15, McDonald's announced their fries do contain wheat and milk ingredients, the suit claims. The woman seeks class-action status, an unspecified amount in damages and an injunction against McDonald's prohibiting the corporation from representing that its fries are gluten- and milk-free.
