DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — Burger King selected SICOM Systems as an approved point-of-sale (POS) system vendor for restaurants in the United States, Canada, South and Central America, and the Caribbean. Earlier this week, the QSR also selected ParTech Inc. and Micros Systems Inc. as technology vendors.
According to a news release, SICOM's only business for more than 35 years has been developing specialized POS systems for the QSR industry.
SICOM is currently offering its fourth-generation system, the SICOM SL18. "Although we are very proud that our original 1600 product line is still running in many restaurants today, the improvements made over the years and embodied in the SL18 have given our customers better operating conditions and controls, at a very economical price," said Terry Doan, president of SICOM.
