Burger King selected Micros Systems Inc., a Columbia, Md.-based software company, to actively market and sell the Micros Res point-of-sale solution to more than 11,000 Burger King restaurants worldwide. Financial terms were not disclosed. 
 
Burger King Corporation completed a full test and evaluation of the MICROS RES POS system in its corporate offices in Miami. Upon completion of this extensive testing, MICROS RES was selected as an approved solution based on the comprehensive criteria established by Burger King Corporation, according to a news release.
