Chicago Tribune: McDonald's Corp. will begin selling a premium spicy-chicken sandwich and an Asian salad after sales growth slowed last year. The new sandwich will debut in February and the salad in May, McDonald's North America president Ralph Alvarez said Monday. Both are aimed at consumers willing to pay more for healthier foods.
 
"We've got to give consumers variety and new tastes," Alvarez said. "They're not coming just for our tried-and-true core products."
