More than $8 million in financing approved for eight Burger King restaurants

Ghai Management Services, Inc., a Burger King franchisee based in Fremont, Calif., has been approved for $8.4 million in financing to open eight Burger King locations in Oregon.

The financing was provided by the GE Capital, Franchise Finance bank affiliate GE Capital Financial Inc.

These new units will total 24 Burger King restaurants for Ghai Management Services, all located in Northern California and Southern Oregon.

"Having worked with Ghai Management Services since 2001, our strong relationship greatly facilitated the timely closing of the acquisition financing," said Allen Johnson, vice president of GE Capital, Franchise Finance, in a press release.

Ghai Management Services is a family operation led by Sunny Ghai and his son, Harsh.
