Atlanta certainly is a hot place for chicken. The city is about to get a boost of 55 total quick-service restaurants that feature chicken as a focal menu item.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Bojangles Restaurants Inc.; Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Chick-Fil-A Inc. and Church's Chicken each plan on expanding within the market throughout the next three years.

In particular, Bojangles' and Popeyes (which is headquartered in Atlanta), plan to double their store count in the city.
